Your Secretariat Central team is led by Denise Craine, an experienced association and board management executive whose strengths include more than 20 years in client services, project management, marketing and communications. In addition to helping associations and societies streamline efficiencies and grow, Denise has extensive volunteer experience working with Alzheimer’s patients and older Canadians, as well as planning events for the Canadian Breast Cancer Society.

Marilyn Sinclair is an accomplished entrepreneur and community leader who sits on not-for-profits boards and chairs many committees, in areas ranging from strategic development and fundraising to governance, education, marketing and office administration. Named one of Canada’s Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs, Marilyn has founded several successful businesses, including ALL ABOUT WORDS and CME Solutions, named “Best of the Best Agency” under her leadership.

Marilyn is the founder of Liberation75, the world’s largest event to commemorate the 75th anniversary of liberation from the Holocaust. She holds a leadership position on the Next Generation Council of the USC Shoah Foundation and sits on their Strategic Planning Committee. She is on the board of Canadian Jewish Holocaust Survivors and Descendants (CJHSD, is Past Chair of the Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre (Toronto), Co-Founder and past Co-Chair of the Dialogue for Descendants (D4D) initiative for children of Holocaust survivors, and past Co-Chair of UJA Federation’s Yom Hashoah Committee. She proudly served as one of two Canadian representatives to the Claims Conference Board for 4 years and was a member of the Control Committee. She holds a B.Sc. and MBA and is a graduate of the Rotman School of Management Leadership program.

Sinclair was recently awarded the BMO Celebrating Women: Community and Charitable Giving Award and the Community Volunteer Award (UJA Federation).
